How much power do you think those illegal wrps gave to Marg?

I mean when Pacquiao had a gloves controversy against Erik Morales about the GLOVES it didnt seem to affect people that much...but here comes a complaint about wraps and suddenly everyone thinks that the WRAPS allowed Margarito to win against Cotto?

Well maybe illegal wraps allow you to hit much harder...maybe not. Does anyone know whether it makes a huge factor in the fight or not?

No power really, but when you get hit, you feel it. I can't describe it. One time while sparring at antoher gym a kid used bag instead of sparring gloves. The punches actually hurt, and feel like you get hit by a brick, instead of a padded glove. Its pretty much like close to bare knuckle fighting except the hand doesn't get hurt and the face does.

The issue isn't the wraps - the MF had plaster under his wraps!

        Ask Tito

Margarito was on steroids when he fought Cotto remember.

I think the way he was wrapping his hands makes them pretty much into casts so he was hitting his opponents with his hands wrapped in casts, if he has been doing this for a while.

They said he did that tonight and they caught it, who can say for sure he's been doing that for all his fight??

It's like saying Trinidad is a scum bag because he got caught doing the same thing, or saying Shane is a piece of **** because of the steroids. I would like to see an investigation go on and the guy who wraps his hands get some consequences, people are making it out like if Margarito wraps his own hands and has been doing that his whole career.

Another thing is how do the commissioners not know what he was doing was illegal?? Those ****ers need some better training to catch that stuff.

As I said at the end of that paragraph, if he has been doing it for a while. But his intent in this fight was clear, he was going to go in there and hit Mosley with casts, which is bull****.

it explains Cotto's face perfectly. It doesn't really add power, but it adds paid, causes cuts, bruises, swelling, broken facial bones, torn ears (cough cough).

It explains why Marg busts people up more than every other fighter.
