Mosley's victory was paramount in that it kept afloat the last man standing from the elite stars of the mid-90's. Oscar, Jones, Jr., Vargas, Trinidad - all those guys are shadows of their former selves. Bernard can still **** a little, but Floyd has moved onto better things. Shane might be the last superstar of years past who can keep the spotlight on our beloved sport. His win over Margarito was a thing of beauty.

First memory of ****m Richardson was in the latter rounds of the Tito fight, where you can hear him tell Bernard, "You've got it champ, it's in the computer!" Love that line. Richardson is an excellent communicator and his advice has been spot on every time I see him in the corner. What an asset for a fighter to have.

Naazim might get Trainer Of The Year of this if his showing stay on course for the rest of 2009...
Didn't you tell me it would be a bad idea for Shane to push Margo around?

Son, there is no need to lay a fowl tongue, young man. I'll have you bounced right off this forum.

As for John Scully, if he was a somebody in boxing, he wouldn't be wasting his time in forums, trying to impress a bunch of nobodies. I am far more respected in the boxing community than he is, trust me on that. Get your facts straight, son.

I'm still buzzing about this fight this morning. I just showed the fight to the guys at work and it's my third time watching it. I love it when I watch a fight that keeps me this excited. What a masterpiece by Shane Mosley and great guidance by ****m Richardson. I think Richardson is on his way to becoming trainer of the year. Whatever he's doing with his fighters is a thing of beauty. I look forward to seeing what fighter he can bring the best out of next. Cong**** to Shane and ****m.

Ahhhhh....and out comes Scully's alter egos, jumping to his defense. This happened at the ESPN forum too. People got sick of Scully's crap and he started creating all of these alter egos to fight his battles. The webmaster at ESPN had it pinned within minutes. Nice try, Skullee...
