We already knew Margarito was extremely lacking in talent.

Mosley's performance wasnt impressive because he outboxed Margarito, we all knew he would be able to do that early. it was impressive because he never let Margaritos CONSTANT pressure get to him, and he never let Margaritos deceptievely heavy hands hurt him.

Amazing upset. Especially considering the LEAST likely outcome to this fight was Mosley by KO. i would picked Margarito by KO before i picked Mosley by KO.

Only thing exposed was that his chin was destructable. **** as many times as he was hit how cud u not be hurt and he wasn't hitting Shane with the same shots. Cotto he was. We all knew he was a average fighter wit great power. No elusiveness,head movement,barely any defense. Tailor-made for Shane Mosley. But the KO was suprising. I think it was more of Margarito giving in. Margarito wasn't flat out gone or anything.

I agree we've always known that Marg wasn't the fastest guy and had only one style and that's coming forward and wearing down his opponent. His chin still took a quite a few bombs a normal person couldn't have taken. It was just a magnificent performance by Mosley.

but did you see the shots he got hit with? I was cringing. from the second round on Margarito ate up shots that would have melted anyone else if they got hit flush by them.

maybe Im crazy, but I think Mosley won that fight in the first round. he hit Margarito FLUSH with a right hand to the body, and Margarito was hurt. people dont often notice, but Margarito does roll with punches often, which takes off at least some of the sting. but he wasnt moving around at all, and I attribute that to Mosley's body work.

man oh man...Mosley looked fantastic. I bet Mayorga is feeling better, too.
but there you have it yall. No man is impossible to knock out, especially when their defence is limited.
