He was a 6 feet tall bantamweight.

You would think that a fighter so skinny would be easy to KO but he was never stopped in his 167 fight career.

Jimmy young went the distance with george foreman, apart from that only lost by a proper K.O (one was because of a cut) once, and that was by the hard hitting shavers

I cannot believe a poll like this excludes Battling Nelson. He might have been KD'ed several times, but only KO'ed by Owen Moran when he was long past his prime. Bat could take more punishment than anybody in history and mind you that the fights back then was 50 rounders or to the finish.

I'd be hard pressed to come up with any fighter on his level.

Oh snap... thats crazy to be so tall yet still make weight, back when making weight wasn't such a big deal as it is now. I've gotta do my research on this guy.

James Toney, Wayne McCullough, and Jose Luis Castillo,

                should deserve mention.

So, it's true. People with the last name Wilson have granite chins, no wonder why I can take a punch so well. And no wonder why when I was 12 I flipped off my bike and went head first into the street tearing my face apart and then I got up from it like a mili-second later as if I were the terminator or some ****.

Ever since that bike accident, I have had quicker reflexes. Like if I trip or something, I put my hands out now. But it's different when you're a kid and you're peddling so fast and then out of no wheres the bike flips on ya

Nelson was tough, maybe tougher than anyone else who ever fought, but I'm not sure if he had the greatest chin.

LaMotta and Chuvalo could take incredible amounts of punishment without going down.

Jimmy young went the distance with george foreman, apart from that only lost by a proper K.O (one was because of a cut) once, and that was by the hard hitting shavers
Young had a good chin but he was also a great defensive fighter. He was rarely hit, even while long past his prime.

The 7th round against Foreman did show that he also had the ability to take a great punch.
