Lawrence Cole, who not so coincidentally is the son of the Texas boxing commissioner ****ie Cole, advising Marquez that he is ahead on the cards after trying to cover his microphone to conceal his partisanship.
Watching this video gives me little hope for boxing reform

Yup he worked Kessler-Andrade right after this. I laugh everytime I see him really because I wonder what odd thing I will see Cole do next (because this is not the only incident with him), although he is kind of young for a ref so he can probably improve (atleast a bit, I hope).Comment

Look, I'm not trying to start anything with you, but people here bring up Chavez-Taylor and Douglas-Tyson from 1990 all the time. This forum is called "non stop boxing" not "2009 boxing". And a non boxing fan wouldn't be discussing something this obscure either.Comment

that happened decades ago, **** alot of us were kids back then, get real.
this is like bringing up collazo-berto and bitching about the scores

Hehe, two years ago I was still working for this website. I have a little more experience watching boxing than a little.
Well, Jaca landed a nice little right hook that knocked Marquez down that was never ruled a knockdown. When an orthodox and a southpaw fight, you're going to get headbutts.Comment
