i dont know why hes giving that big mouth antonio tarver a rematch he clearly outboxed him, i just finished watching some rounds of the tarver-dawson fight, i havent watched much of chad dawson but ill tell you what, he does fight like a champion, great hand speed for a guy his size, decent power, and good ring movement and reflexes, he would give calslappy a great fight and id say he would beat calslappy.
Chad Dawson could beat Joe calzaghe

na chad would win, calzaghe beat up a washed up over the hill roy jones jr. come on now a prime roy would whipe the floor with calzaghe, and he had a close fight with hopkins and even got dropped by hopkins, and chad dawson is a legit light heavyweight, i think if he doesnt get on the ropes too much and keeps the shhhit in the middle of the ring he outboxes calzagheComment

As much as I'd love to see Slappy lose that "0", he has virtually no chance of losing it against Dawson.
Like him or not, Calzaghe has shown a tremendous ability to adapt and overcome in the past. He fights on the fly, adjusting to his opponet round by round.
Chad's speed may pose problems early, but I think Joe would eventually adapt and overcome, as he always does.Comment

ok chad dawson is the wbc light heavyweight champ, hes younger and sharper then hopkins and jones obviously, he would beat pavlik too and jermain taylor, so if calzaghe would beat dawson without a doubt by your opinion then shiiit, then whats the real challenge for calslappy then?????Comment

If anybody can make fight altering adjustments mid-fight, it's Calzaghe. (see Hopkins fight; he got dropped in round 1 by a vicious straight right then barely got caught with the same shot again)
Are you trying to say that Dawson is as good as prime Roy?na chad would win, calzaghe beat up a washed up over the hill roy jones jr. come on now a prime roy would whipe the floor with calzaghe, and he had a close fight with hopkins and even got dropped by hopkins, and chad dawson is a legit light heavyweight, i think if he doesnt get on the ropes too much and keeps the shhhit in the middle of the ring he outboxes calzaghe
That's what it seems to me.
Prime Roy would give Joe serious trouble, but it would still be a close fight, no matter what anybody says.
A very good analysis of the fight. As much as I'd love to see Slappy lose that "0",he has virtually no chance of losing it against Dawson.

I tryed to hit you up with some green K, but it wouldn't let me.
Props.Comment

Calzaghe is to smart in the ring for Dawson. Even if Dawson proved to be physically superior, Calzaghe would change his style and force the fight to go the way he wants it, getting a decision.Comment

The only person I see giving 'Zaghe a challenge anymore is Hopkins, in a rematch. He won't be suffering the thyroid condition this time out, so his stamina will be back to normal. Plus, he'll come in with something to prove and be fully motivated.ok chad dawson is the wbc light heavyweight champ, hes younger and sharper then hopkins and jones obviously, he would beat pavlik too and jermain taylor, so if calzaghe would beat dawson without a doubt by your opinion then shiiit, then whats the real challenge for calslappy then?????
Hopkins always performs his best when his back is against a wall. And even with the thyroid condition and piss poor stamina, he gave Joe the hardest fight of Joe's career. Me and many other people scored that one 114-113 for Hopkins.
But Joe won't rematch him, so it's a moot point.Comment
