BJ Flores Stops Matt Hicks, Targets Cruiser Champs

Stepping in the ring for the first time in almost a year, unbeaten cruiserweight BJ Flores (22-0, 14KOs) easily dispatched of fringe contender Matt Hicks (14-3) in three rounds at the Plaza Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Flores has been inactive since winning a decision over Darnell Wilson last February. Flores knocked Hicks down in round two and finished him off in the third. [details]

This guy is a waste of talent.....he turned down Enzo, Adamek, and a list of other over "money" issues and then fights for 25 bucks and says that it wasn't about the money.

If you are going to duck the elite mother phucker, at least say so and don't use money as an excuse because obviously last night it wasn't.

lol Yeah, you weaks ass bird, you talk like you got the balls, but I'm pretty sure he was stressin about prep time and money.

Unlike someone as ****** as you, he's not willing to walk into a fight under prepared and underpaid. Thats a sucker job, which looks like a job you're prone to.

If it was really about time that's reasonable. Contenders can easily get suckered into taking a shot under the wrong circumstances. Adamek is going to bring pressure for twelve rounds, and Flores will need the training of his life to have a shot. An undertrained Flores would get hurt against TA

U r a thunder****, the dude box yesterday for 25 dollars.....I'd rather fight on 2 weeks notice for a title and a check for over 10,000 than be off almost a year and comeback for $25.

The dude is worthless....he must be a relative of yours.
