As a judge, I like a fighter who comes forward and is making the fight, as opposed to someone who throws a combo and gets out. Ring generalship is one thing, but I don't like runners.
I dont like runners either bro. Good k.

answer the question or do I take it that you cant imagine your boy bein KO'D? Remember Santos, he had Antonio severely hurt and I really dont think Santos is any harder of a puncher than Shane. Dont be so quick to think Margarito is impervious to the KO. He aint. He has taken a lot of damage to the noggin and gets countered extremely clean. I personally wouldnt think of him in any less of a light if would get KO'd. He is a warrior and will always be so but I bet he would lose a lot of fans.

People seriously underrate Margarito's boxing ability.

Look at that way he throws shots to both the body and head. Look at the way he punches at crazy angles and finds guys.

He's not floyd mayweather, but he woulda lost 10 times already if he was as ****ty of a boxer as people make him out to be.

Chin alone doesn't get you to the top. Nor does work rate.

Let's be realistic here, and quit putting guys in one category or the other.

It's like every boxer's weaknesses are highlighted, but their strengths that aren't obvious strengths, go completely unnoticed.

That happens when posters have only been watching boxing for a couple of years.

I guess it's a way to make what you see simpler and easier to understand.

Same goes with Mosley. They do the same freaking thing.

Even Cotto had difficulty doing this when Shane boxed. There is no doubt power vs power Margarito has a supreme edge and Mosley know this. Shane will box from start to finish and get a split decision victory.
Hate to tell you this, but Shane is NOT a BOXER and far from it. He likes to trade and never, ever follows his game plan. I can't remember the last time shane actually used a jab. He's also the shorter fighter in this fight and remember that, as it will be a real "key" in the fight. Shane is just like Roy Jones Jr. all the ability in the world to be a great boxer, but they throw one punch at a time.

I agree to an extent but take away MArgarito's very durable chin and would he have made it past Cintron(twice), Williams or the almost 300 punches Cotto hit him with?

lets be real, money marg has some boxing skills, but its basically his chin and workrate that pulls him through.
