Fact is that they should ask Mosely because thats what good reporting/analyst do...
I think a article about Mosley's steroid abuse has been copied and pasted more then a few times on here. Matter of fact, I'm sure of it.

    That's not my beef.

My beef is with HBO thinking they have some kind of moral high ground to think they have a leg to stand on this.

Shane's an excercise rat, takes care of his body and knows what works and doesnt work, i'm sure he noticed his bulk getting bigger than normal, his head getting bigger than normal and quite frankly, its disgusting that he used that ****. Everyone other than Bonds and Mosely who went to Balco have admitted that they were given this **** and knew exactly what it was they were given.....

HBO has a responsibility to ask tough questions and put people on the spot, because if they dont it circumvents there reputation....Its about time someone or some entity starts talking about drug use in boxing because quite frankly, theres probably a lot more fighters who have used or are still using the ****
hbo has a responsibility to provide entertaining programs, which we get tomorrow, in terms of an "fight." the gov't has a respnsibility to put ppl on the spot and ask tough questions, not hbo. it'd be different if he got caught doing it for this particular fight, then yea, hbo would totally have that right, but over some **** nearly nine years ago??? hbo has no right. let the right ppl handle that.

He'd be where Marion Jones is now; disgraced, shunned by the sport she damaged by becoming a drugs cheat, and stripped of all her honours.
you just said "mosley CONFESSED under oath that he took EPO before the de la hoya fight...."

marion jones is disgraced partly b/c she did so, lied about it, and the olympics HAD specific drug policies in place.....this **** was 9 years ago, and as far as we know, it happened for one fight, and he CLAIMS he was unaware of what it was.

let the **** play out in court, then pass judgement. hbo can quiz his ass, but the fact there's an open lawsuit right now, pretty much assures everybody that hbo won't get any answers......so what's the point?

you ask tough questions when you want to get tough answers, when there's an ongoing legal proceeding, the parties involved are usually instructed to keep quiet about. so i guess if hbo wants to waste time, and has no better questions about boxing and future opponents to ask the new WW champ, then so be it.

Sugar Shane is a nice guy that obviously FUC#@D Up. I hate when a good guy's track record is so good that when he makes a mistake people blow it out of proportion. Give the guy a break he has earned it.

No. If a boxer cheats and takes roids, that's a worse offense to the sport than being an azzhole but following the rules and not taking steroids.

It doesn't matter if Shane is a good person or a jerk. Juicing is juicing.

He shouldn't be given a pass because he's a nice guy. That's crap.

That being said, there's a time and place for everything, so it'd be better to grill Shane on this during say, an HBO Real Sports episode a few months from now. Not on the night of one of his fights.

mosley is an outstanding boxer, i still dont understand why he felt the need to inject anything, legal or not for a rematch with de la hoya, as if oscar is mike tyson or something. the first fight was action packed and he won it pretty clearly, why try to gain a strength advantage vs someone he already beat, i just dont get it.

i cant say i lost all respect for him since this is just one fight, but some respect is lost because until they give oscar the W for that bout, it will always be tainted. mosley has first ballot hall of fame written all over his resume, it'll be disappointing if they strip him of that because of one bad move.

If i was Mosley I'd drop out of this fight right now. Injury, whatever... It is obvious that should Mosley win they are gonna nail him, so why let the ****ers have the satisfaction?

Wake up and smell the coffee kid. Boxing has been a dirty game for a long time now and Shane's roids are not even the biggest travesty going on... Even the Mob is in it. Wise people don't pay or bet in boxing but they say the average IQ of the boxing fan is 94, that kind of explains why the sports hasn't completely died off yet.
