Dawson is too green and lacks the ring smarts to beat Calzaghe..... his hand speed may give Joe a couple problems, but not enough for him to stand a chance of winning

Dawson along with Hopkins would the best technical fighter Joe will have ever fought and we saw what happened to him against Hopkins. Dawson is a lefty too and he will not tire like Hopkins and he will **** Calzaghe's body, because along with Cotto you are talking about one of the best body puncher in the game today.

i think Pavliks wins over Taylor are better than any of Dawson's wins

and you're twisting or miscontruing my words. Pavlik was clearly being overrated, no? and i think a large part of that is due to the fact that American's saw him as the man who should fight Calzaghe next

I doubt very seriously if Calzaghe - Dawson ever happens...I haven't seen either guy really push to make it happen and I think it would take a lot of interest from both parties in order for this fight to come to fruition...What does Joe C have to gain from fighting this young lion who is in his prime at this point in his career...He has already established himself as an elite p4p fighter and future hall of famer and is secure financially...Its not like anyone is gonna lower they're opinion of him if he doesn't fight Dawson...That fact of the matter is that there are more lucrative fights out there for Calzaghe if he chooses to continue to fight, with rematches with both Jones and Hopkins on the table...

Also, to compare Dawson to Lacy is laughable...Lacy has never really accomplished much as a professional fighter other than getting his ass kicked by Calzaghe...He did very little before fighting Calzaghe and he has done even less since...Chad Dawson is a legitimate world class fighter...Jeff Lacy isn't even a has been, he's a never was...

It wont happen, because Joe manages his career safely.

Joe will go after a technically inferior aggressive fighter like Pavlik or Froch. Dawson is too good technically for Calzaghe and he mirrors his stance too. Dawson has faster hands and better variety.
