Hatton has to take away Manny’s legs with extensive body work. This is not an option. He has to get into the pocket and corner the Pacman.

If all else fails, foul Manny. Throw Pac off his game.

Hatton is going to look similar to Oscar, prolly look better than him because he has fast feet and hes going to have his moments, but Manny is not going to be there for Ricky's "jump in-hold a bit-then hit you from the hold position" strategy that hes known for.
If Hatton enters the later rounds without a single frame in the bank, the time may come for him to start hitting low, tripping, elbowing, and butting his way to victory.

That's why I said he should not be afraid to take punches in order to get to the inside.

                1. Take four to give one - Hatton can't avoid Pacquiao's punches all the time. Manny is one of the fastest hands, if not the fastest, in boxing. For every 1 punch that Hatton would give, he should not be afraid to receive 4 power punches back.

                2. Don't underestimate Pacquiao power punches - Remember that out of 53 fights of Pacquiao, 36 has ended in KO. That's 7 out of 10 knockout power.

                3. Don't spend all your power punch energy in the first few rounds - Pacquiao hasn't been knocked out by good to great fighters for almost a decade, so don't expect him to go down in the first few rounds.

                4. Don't wait for Pacquiao to get tired - Pacquiao has a reputation of having freakish stamina reservoir. The man is a throwback to an era where rounds are more than a dozen.

                5. Don't expect Pacquiao's speed to diminish due to weight - Remember that since 2004, Pacquiao is used to entering the ring as essentially a welterweight (146 lbs. during his 1st Marquez fight).

                6. Don't overrelly on hugging - Pacquiao hands are blistering fast during inside exchanges. Manny also prove over and over again, that he has the quick reflex to move his head away from uppercuts after an inside exchange.

                7. Don't box technically with Pacquiao - Only technical masters can pull it off (e.g. Marquez). Speed, timing and accuracy are the bread and butter of Pacquiao. His rhythmn don't have a regular pattern, making it hard to predict and time.

                8. Don't rely solely on blocking the punches with gloves - Pacquiao has long added to his offensive arsenal fake jabs, up and down feints, with 3 or 4 punch fast combos from different angles. Manny smart fast footwork also ensure of him having high percentage of accurate punches landing when faced with gloves blockage alone.

                9. Don't follow Pacquiao in the ring without punching - Pacquiao moves in and out, side to side, throwing trajectory angle power punches while moving at an unpredictable direction at an uncanny speed.

                10. Don't block Pacquiao's way without head movement - Fighters who stood directly in front like a statue with the intent of cutting off Pacquiao's movement has received the worst beating (e.g. Diaz).
and the fight is ON !!! Hatton, better do all these DON'TS!! coz Pacquiao comin for ya boy!! comin for that title! comin for that ASSSSS!!! no ****

That's bad, if that's the only strategy.
