They are both fighting soon Vanes will fight Billy Lyell (18-6-3 KOs) and Chavez Jr. will fight Carlos Nascimento (21-1-18 Kos)... if they both win they should really make that fight. Even though i feel Chavez jr. has faced better competition, It wasnt good competition.

It would be a step up for both fighters and the winner moves on to better things. Instead of just fighting bums.

Hey, maybe the winner could fight the loser of the Julio/Kirkland fight.

Should it happen? Sure, it would be fun. Its not going to happen, though, JCC Jr. is a well protected commodity, and I dont expect that to change very soon. He will probably end up fighting Camacho Jr. next.
