Floyd Mayweather Jr. was the Linear Champion in the division. With him out its been blank.
Should Margarito and Cotto rematch in July it will be for the Ring Championship, so I guess thats where we would start a new one.

thanks for the reply, but was Floyd really the linear one (and not just the ring magazine, or considered the best of the division) but did he beat the man who beat the man and right down the line. I know there are times when vacates and stuff get in the way, so I guess thats why its hard to trace it sometimes.
