Taylor-Green gets the go-ahead?

Boxing Confidential is reporting that Allan Green is going to take Froch's place on the March 28 Showtime card in St. Louis. Not a surprising matchup considering DiBella promotes both Taylor and Green.

A win-win for the promoter, but not the ideal fight for the fans.

I see no problem with this because Taylor lost twice to pavlik and has had only one fight at 168 since. I don't see any need to rush him, not like Froch is some super athlete or anything I'm sure Taylor beats him easily, but I'm just sayin it's a good fight for his 2nd at 168.

It looks like Froch was offered around $1.4 million to fight Taylor in St. Louis, but his promoter has not accepted the offer, citing problems making UK tv arrangements for this date.
