Fair enough but surely there is some info on manny's pay-per view numbers in the phillipines? If there is ppv there, why does manny get a cut of the UK ppv, and Hatton not the phillipines, and then pac complains about the deal?

If fight purses where based on skill level i would agree with you but they aren't, they aren't and never have been, it might seem that way because usually the better fighter has more fans.

But business is business and if you bring more $$ to the table you generally leave with more $$ no matter what way you look at it.

The only thing about this whole saga that pisses me off is that Ricky Hatton a great pro, huge risk taker and long time top 10 P4P has been made out to be some sort of no skill bum who is lucky to be in the same ring as Pacquiao.

He's ranked 10 P4P if he's not worthy who the fcuk is?

While Pacquaio who's last two fights have been frankly against abysmal opposition is suddenly able to KO the Ring champ two weights higher some people saying in 3 rounds... and fit opposition for a guy 3 weights higher who comes into the ring weighing 20lbs more naturally than pacman does.

abysmal oppositions? david diaz was the WBC lightweight champion and that's the first time Pac fought at that weight, so you need to give props to pacman for doing what he did against diaz. secondly, pac jumped 2 weight classes and beat the **** out of ODLH when everybody has counted him out.

no disrespect to hatton but he build his career by mostly fighting UK patsies. i dont know why he got rank top 10 lb4lb...the only meaningful fighter hatton beaten in his stellar career is KT.

Also, there are 1.4 million Filipinos in America alone with an average median household of $59,000 a year, which is higher than the average American family as well as on of the highest of all groups.. There are no poor Filipinos in America...
