Nothing shane can do in this fight, nothing! He wasn't a 5-1 underdog for no reason. This is margaito's fight and this will all be margarito doing what he wants to do. RIP sugar shane!

That's all well and good but Mosley isn't the type of guy who wants to outbox his opponent and he very rarely works behind a jab. Stylistically this fight is a nightmare for him and that great chin of his could be a curse in this fight.

I agree with a lot of the comments except for the one about how Shane should wrestle with Antonio...maybe that was a wrong choice of words or something but...wrestling with another boxer is VERY tiring...very much so...a guy like Antonio would LOVE for Shane to wrestle on the inside with him...it's why I say Shane can be on the inside but he should MANEUVER, not wrestle.

I think Mosley has more of a chance to win this fight then ppl give him credit for. He's still got more skills then Antonio Margarito will EVER come across in his life at the young age of 36. He needs to do a few things tho consistently to even give him a chance of winning.

Circle Circle Circle and then Circle some more. Angles and more angles as Ice already put it. It's not a lie that even myself could land at least 1 3 punch combination of Marg. The guy doesn't possess any defensive ability. As long as Shane can continue to move around the ring and get off first, he will score with absolute ease. The most important thing is that he flurries and then moves to his left. If he squares up which at times he tends to do, he's in trouble. Cotto made so many mistakes in his fight, that by the 5th round, you almost knew the fight was eventuallly going to be stopped. You can't stop and exchange and square up and expect not to get hit, especially with Cotto's defensive abilities. Shane needs to move around the ring the entire night, controlling the distance and make Marg continue to find him all night, of course, not allowing Antonio to find anything but counter right hands.

Another thing, when has Mosley's stamina ever really been in question. I have never seen him not in tip top shape for a fight. Now maybe not on his best as we've seen in the Mayorga fight, but always in tip top shape. Another, Mosley will not be Ko'ed in this fight. Hes been hurt once, and if by hurt u mean completely out cold for about 3 secs, then he was hurt. He got up n finished the next 8 rounds. I believe it was the 3rd round of the first Vernon Forrest fight.

Mosley needs to use his hand speed to win this fight. He can't be macho, and square up, he squares up, he loses this fight hands down. He gives angles, cirlces and counters a fighter who in actuality is tailor made for a counter punching boxer. Look for overhand rights to land at will all night for Shane, the bottom line is will he be able to keep Marg off of him for 12 long hard rounds, bc thats what it is going to be when your in there with Margarito!

True but he's gonna have to clinch if Margarito gets him outta position against the ropes. Wrestling, probably not a good idea but a little holding at certain times could serve him well. It will be interesting to see if Margarito has a reaction when Mosley lands the first few clean power punches. If Mosley can gain even a little respect from Tony it may serve him well to keep Tony from getting relentless. I have to say tho Tony is underrated in many areas, not that he's devastating in any one area but he damn good in many. I really hate to see Mosley go out via a beating but this will be one tough fight for him and win or lose he's probably gonna take one .

The only way Shane wins is if he can do this to Margarito

He needs to throw I'd say...at least 650-700 punches in the fight. Probably more. He needs to get off first and make Margarito look like the Mexican that he is. If he can take away Margarito's offense he's got a good shot. I beieve he can do that was Naz Richardson in his corner.

unless tony gets injured i don't see a way shane can win at this point. he's to much for the ssm these days imo.

I didn't mean he should try and out muscle him, but tie him up and constantly check his balance. Push him a bit, when he pushes back, turn him a little so he is pushing himself off balance. He needs to be implementing a lot of the techniques of force redirection they teach in judo. He needs to be using Margo's size and strength against him.
