Sure, but who would be favored over Hatton...there's guys who could beat him, but is there anyone seriously good enough to say they can be FAVORED over Hatton at 140?
No betting line would have Hatton as the underdog at 140...except maybe against MayweatherComment

Hatton was only slightly hurt. I have just watched the fight again, and Hatton was not anywhere near being knocked down. His legs went for a couple of seconds, thats all. And the ref was warning Lazcano about holding Hatton down, when you can see Hatton look down and realise his shoes were undone.
The break benefited Lascano more than Hatton.Comment

Does he honestly think he's bigger than the game, I suppose that's why the Philippines is a third world country.Comment

How many times had either fighter pushed the others head to the floor?
That like me saying "It wasn't a touchdown because the lineman jumped offside"
and you replying "How many time where linemen called offside before the touchdown?"
"Errr, none, but thats because none had jumped offside before that, whats your point?"Comment

OK guys, sorry about the Malignaggi decent effort thing. I didn't realy remember the fight so good couse it was pretty boring, my bad. But he did look **** against Lazcano. All he brings is the British TV audience and a one dimensional attack. I mean Pacman is the star, the NUMBER 1 PFP fighter in the world, he has EARNED the 60-40 split. Look at the guys resume. Hatton with his recent showings should be happy with that split. Floyd already made him big bucks.Comment

If I could beat a top 10 in my weight fighter 120-108 / 120-110 / 118-110 and be called ****, i'd be more than happy.
Lazcano had two spells of sucsess in the entire fight both lasted less than 30 seconds.Comment

Firstly, the simple fact is that whoever the 'star' may or may not be Hatton brings as much cash, if not more, to the table than Pacquiao. He is also the linear champ and Ring belt holder at 140. To me that rates 50-50 whatever sort of fr*gging resume the challenger may have... and I tend to agree with a couple of previous posters that Pac's resume isn't quite as impressive as you seem to think it is. Linear champ is a matter of fact. #1 PFP is a matter of opinion.
Secondly, a lot depends on the circumstances. You might have a point (although I don't agree with it, as I said) had that been the Pacquiao camp's position from the word go, but it seems everyone thought 50-50 had been agreed. If that was the case, you have to draw the line somewhere and it's not hard to see why Hatton might be a tad pissed.
Thirdly, it depends on what else is being lined up. We simply have no idea of who might be willing to get it on with who at the moment, with PBF being the really big unknown.Comment
