Hatton definitely deserves a shot at Manny. They are almost perfect matched, in my opinion. And hey, the fans really want to see it, so no more needs to be said.

What I don't agree with is Hatton getting 50/50. 60/40 wasn't an unreasonable demand, and 55-45 sounds about right to me considering Pac's status in boxing. Hatton shouldn't have thrown away an opportunity to take a shot at the universally recognized #1 P4P fighter for the sake of 5%.

On the other hand, 50/50 is kinda fair, so I do see both sides, however, I'll stick to my guns and say Manny's demands are not unreasonable.

I agree in your statement except for that they are almost perfect matched. Look at pacmans resume and look at Hattons for the exception of Tzyu Hatton hasn't done anything.

I will put my money where my mouth is and if Hatton fights any one the likes of De La Hoya, Pacman, Mayweather, Witter, JMM he will get demolished. And yeah I said it De La Hoya old and slow ass would beat clinch and hold Hatton.
im been watching WITTER for a while now. i love his style and he doesnt get a chance to showcase it. bradley wont give him a rematch cuz he wants to unify the titles and get the big names of the division. HATTON GETS SMACKED by any top JWW OR WW out there. in my eyes hatton is garbage. sorry hatton fans. but a hold and hit JWW version of JOHN RUIZ IS NOT MY CUP OF TEA.

Why don't they get 40% each and the winner get the remaining 20%. Boxing needs to do more in rewarding the winner.

I meant physically they are well matched. Hatton's done enough to get a shot at Manny, IMO. He has a solid resume, but not spectacular. However, it's more than enough. He has reigned at 140 for 5 years man, there's not much more you can ask for.

When is using IBF, WBA, WBO rankings legitimate. Castillo was not p4p #9 during fight time. We all knew that. His fights with Collazo, Urango, and Lazcano where so close some of them could have gone either way.
