Nope, I've gained a new respect for him, he's saying, "****k the system and ****k Golden Boy". Oscar didn't give him the money he wanted the first time, now they're trying to do it again against Hatton. Pac is the man in boxing right now, he deserves more than Hatton. So props for Manny for sticking to his guns.

Yes. He got 32% against DLH, Hatton is p4p unlike DLH, is as big if not bigger a draw, has his belts on the line, won't talk much to Arum or even answer his phone or talk to his coach Roach whom he's supposed to be close with. To top it all off Hatton brings more money than him or anyone thus it's not good business even.

The losers are him, Hatton, the sport and the fans.

Where's the positives in this? It could have easily been avoided has he been less greedy and stubborn over a few %.

Same for Hatton then, Kris. If he'd offered 55/45 it would be on. Instead, he turns down his opportunity to fight the P4P #1 because of a fairly insignificant percentage. The blame doesn't lie solely with Pacquiao. Manny knows what his status is and won't give in because he came up the hard way. I don't blame him for sticking to his guns.

Indeed. What was the PPV numbers for Hatton-Malignaggi?

Hatton is roughly as big a draw as ODL as things stand now, certainly fan wise and money wise. Infact on both those 2 he brings more now, and would do more to this fight.

Pac got 32% against ODL, and now suddenly he thinks nearly double that at 60% is justified. This is when he's entering a new division, taking on the top guy in it whom is roughly as big a draw, brings more money and fans than anyone else could, is p4p, and has a belt on the line.

Hatton was also promised 50/50 by Arum, but has been patient, diplomatic and negotiable. Meanwhile Pacman has been demanding, communicating more with the media of these business matters than his own promoter, and not even spoken to his trainer whom he considers a father figure. Everyone around him inc; his promoter has pleaded and given him more and more money to the point his guarantee would be much higher than Hattons.

I'm more of a fan of Pac than Hatton, but you simply cannot get away from these things.
