nah i dont think so...either way margarito has to fight shane and then cotto, so a fight with ricky in the meantime for Manny doesnt prevent a future fight with margarito after the cotto bout so...no

but pacquiao/margarito/cotto are all under Top Rank...I'm sure Arum can work things out... Pacquiao's next fight date would be May 2nd correct?...which falls close to cinco de mayo... u think Margarito would turn down that offer if presented to him??

I think from this point on now pac has the say of things...all that "my team handles my fights" is shot to pieces now...Roach and Arum can say they don't want manny to fight so and so, but that doesn't mean manny doesn't want to either...I mean ****, they can't even make pac fight a fight they want him in..

I know he won't make as much fighting Marg than fighting Ricky but what if Pac wants Margarito like he's stated... instead of chasing money, he's chasing greatness(high risk/low reward/greater win)... he's even attending the fight on saturday..

Why didn't mayweather fight margarito instead of hatton? probably Cash.
