Since the fight with Manny seems off: Who should Hatton fight?

I'd like to see him take on Bradley (assuming the Holt fight happens and he wins), another young lion of the LW division and a win would get one over on Witter!

But I have a bad feeling he's gonna go for a sparring session with Oscar.

Only big name option he's got right now is Zab. After Holt-Bradley, he can fight the winner.

Nate Campbell already called him out, and he will be fighting Feb 14th.
but fight with JMM or Bradley would both be acceptable too.

Zab isn’t anywhere near the top of the game these days. His last fight was on the undercard to JC / RJJ for God's sake.

I'd forget Zab fighting Ricky. It carries very little appeal, especially in Britain (yes, I know JL was unknown, but that fight was all about the ‘comeback’, this next fight is all about the FIGHT)

Bradley? Hmm, good fighter, but needs a couple more fights to raise his profile - though a good performance against Holt won’t do him any harm.

In a nutshell, Ricky’s next opponent (assuming the Manny fight does get called off - which, officially, it hasn’t yet) HAS to be another box office fighter.

JMM / PBF are the two that really jump out. Cotto perhaps, but he won’t be free til end of '09

I think it'll be JMM, or PBF.

Would be happy with either.

But again, whoever it is, because it's Ricky Hatton, and because of the draw that he is, the opponent also has to be A+ box office.
