He's only 30 bro he's no where near done.
He's great in run support. But I mean, if you wanna see the metrics I can show you. He didn't have a good year in coverage, in fact he's really only had two elite years.

Asoumagha is the best CB in the league, hands down.

no he's not. You don't get it, teams don't even throw to champ bailey! He's that good! He's made the pro bowl how many times in a row???? It's rare to see bailey's wr open on a route very rare! I rarely even see qb's look his direction.

If you want the metrics I can show you. Bailey's zone rating wasn't good this year.

why you talking about this year? You already know baily missed like 11 games this year. Our defense was horrible! It's hard to stand out on a defense like the last two years. Cb's were often out of place and cheating due to the garbage d-line not stopping the run. Plus zone is cheap man on man 1 on 1 is where your real talent stands out and bailey is the #1 shut down corner in the NFL.

It's not zone as in zone coverage. It's basically how many times he was targeted, and how many yards he allowed each time he was targeted. It's basically the most effective stat to judge Cornerbacks on, as it's really hard to judge a CB's performance unless you watch them all the time.

In 2007 Bailey had a ******ed year. But every other year except that one and another he hasn't been in the top 5. Let me know if you're interested in the stats, they're actually pretty interesting.

shoot them at me, but let me tell you this 08 and 07 have been the worst defenses i have ever seen put on a bronco uniform so it's hard to be productive when you have to extend yourself. Second I have watched bailey play every game since he came to denver and he RARELY gets beat. The last time i seen him get beat was against the packers he cheated towards the run and the play was a play action. Once again if he didnt' have to worry about the cheap ass defensive linemen not stopping the run that wouldn't happen. The other time was when TO cought a quick screen pass and broke free from bailey for a td. Other than that in the 5 or so years he's been in denver he's been nothing but outstanding! He's always near the top of the league in passes batted away, interceptions, and tackles. He's one of the best tackling cb's in the nfl. Like i said ive watch all the bronco games for say about the last 6 years or so. QB's don't even look towards his side, teams refuse to challenge bailey and that's something that someone that doesn't watch him play wouldn't know. Like i said during the first 5 game this year they threw the ball to his receiver 3 times!! 3times in 5 games that should show you how much respect they got for him!
