That's true. Since Chico is dead, people don't like it when he's criticized or people make jokes about his domestic abuse problems. I think it's fine, it's not like the joke was about him dying.

Although no one seems to mind when I make Carlos Monzon wife-beating jokes, and Monzon went to another level than Chico did with that.
