If I was part of Miranda's team, I would be very skeptical about putting him in with another top fighter like Taylor so soon after his devastating loss to Abraham. I'd say keep him busy KO'ing B level competition and gradually step him back up...

I'm still intrigued by this fight. Miranda certainly has toned down his **** talking after getting slaughtered by Abraham.
I don't get why some of you are saying that Miranda doesn't deserve to fight Taylor. Taylor hasn't exactly done much at SMW in winning a boring UD over a shot Jeff Lacy.Comment

We don't know that for sure, but unfortunately I get the impression that it's true. I agree Froch-Taylor would be a great fight, but the fact that many people posting here are more excited about Taylor facing Miranda than they are about him facing Froch illustrates Froch's problem - he isn't marketable at the moment, and he needs to take the Taylor fight on whatever terms he can get in order to make himself marketable. But judging by the fact that Di Bella reportedly made an offer to the Froch camp several days ago, and apparently hasn't heard back, it does seem that Froch is delusional about his marketability and looks like pricing himself out of the most important fight of his career.Last edited by Dave Rado; 01-21-2009, 01:37 PM.Comment

as a SMM he went 1-1. losing to KP and beating a now a days average fighter in JL. would of could of but didnt. i think a fight between them would be great for boxing and good for both of there careers at this point. it would be exciting. dont you think?Comment
