Calderon vs Solis in The Works

According to Peter Rivera, Calderons promoter, he was contacted by Ulises Solis(IBF JR Flyweight Champion) promoter, in regards of a unification bout with Calderon in PR or USA. Peter said both have their offers, and that Solis team is analising the terms. They said that because Solis may fight Viloria in March 15, they will postponed Calderons fight in February 21(Wich he doesnt have a opponent for) and make a fight for march with another opponent so him and Solis are on even terms, and make the fight in the summer!!!!!!!

I hope this fight happends, Im glad to here that Solis team was the one contacting Calderon, props to them for that!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great fight. I see my countryman Solis beating him though. I've never seen Calderon beat anyone multi-dimensional. Cazares is an awkward one-dimensional fighter and he almost KO'ed Calderon. Now solis is a boxer/puncher which will give Calderon trouble. Calderon is getting old (32) and he needs to start closing up his career with the best opponents possible and Solis is worthy of that.

With all do repect, Calderon is too good for Solis. Solis may do good in the fight, but Calderon will take this like 116-112.

He might, but I'm interested to see how Calderon would deal with a guy with both boxing skills and punching power. If Solis can cut of the ring off in a good way and keep coming at Calderon, we're in for a good fight regardless of the result. Solis by hard fought split-decision.

I doubt this fight will ever happen but if it does happen, I'm willing to bet all points on Calderon.
