Hmmm, it would have been good to see a conclusion or summary of sorts, but anyway, I think, as the guy above me pointed out, that Darchinyan has certainly improved upon his skills and his last two fights have shown that he has become quite difficult to hit cleanly. Also, I would say his speed is greater than Arce's.

At this stage, and I'm quite certain that we're talking about this stage of their careers, that Vic's speed and defense/skill is at an higher level than Arce's and that Vic has even turned into something of a solid unorthodox boxer/puncher.

Nonetheless, great to see that this fight is still being looked forward to. I thin this could be one of the best fights of the year. Everyone counting Arce out will be very surprised. The only problem with his recent fights is his lack of an opponent to get up for. He now has that in spades and will come in in amazing shape and motivated. It will be great I think. Can't wait.

I never like Vic's technical ability probably because he doesnt have none but seriously his fist complement his ego and the man proved me wrong in the Mijares fight. With this being said I feel I owe it to Vics fans not to bash the man. If he holds up against Arce then I would be pretty damn impressed.

skill even! please! I know neither one has great technical skill but arce should have the advantage there! I guess they view Vic throwing wild left hands equal to throwing wild combinations like Arce does!

I don't see Arce having enough left these day's to beat Vic.

This should be a good fight!! I can’t wait to see Vic get knocked out again, just like Donaire did to him…

This is gonna be the best fight of new year. Forget all that Marg/Mosley, and Hatton/Pac garbage. This is the fight that everyone wants to see. Real hatred between each fighter and no Golden Boy to **** it up. Fasten your seat belts!!!

Hells yea this is gonna be awesome. Arce will KO Vic mark my words. Conditioning will be the deciding factor in this fight which in this case Arce has more. Remember that Vic fades down the stretch. Vic is also used to getting by on his knockout punch to win so he hasn't been in too many rough fights which gives Arce the advantage in experience. Oh and remember just because he beat Mijares doesn't mean he will beat Arce. Styles make fights!! Arce by late round stoppage.
