Wow! This is the first fight where Julio doesn't have the power advantage, that is crazy, chin, neither, didn't Julio get dropped by Cosme Rivera? was it legit or was it because he was tired?

        Julio by ko

Julio should knock this guy out. Kirkland has never been hit by a big puncher yet. Julio by late ko.

Kirkland by TKO 2nd or 3rd round....

This is the perfect fight for Kirkland....Julio is a decent contender whose two defeats have been at the hands of light punching southpaws. (Quintana & Dzinziruk) Now he faces a hard punching southpaw who will clean his clock in the first round and win a 2nd or 3rd round TKO. Julio may get in a shot or two and even stun Kirkland but he won't be able to withstand Kirkland's onslaught. Will be a good fight while it lasts, especially if you're a Kirkland fan. After a victory like this, his next step may be title shot against Santos or Forrest! (He should pursue Forrest!)

This is a tough pick! How much pressure can Kirkland apply to Julio and for How Long? Can keep the jab in the dawgs nose long enough to puzzle him before KOing him. Looking forward to the fight! Happy B-Day to me!!!!!!!!

Kirkland was getting hit at will by slow as Brian Vera. If Julio with his power, hits him with half the punches Vera did is lights out. And does 2 lightpunching southpaws, are great skilled fighters who were/are world champs and very skill fighters, with good defense. Kirkland is a brawler with good power, not as powerfull as Julio with a horrible defense and no experience. Julio will KO Kirkland and You can qute on this if you want!!!!!!!!!!

I was kinda hopin Angulo would get Kirkland first. But Julio vs Angulo, if Joel gets by Kirkland will be just as good. Then I again I don't even know if Julio will get by Kirkland. Every Julio fight I've seen with the exception of the Bundrage fight was at Welterweight, and I just saw he lost his last fight???? I don't know if I'd count Kirkland out that easily.

This is a toss up fight only because Julio likes fighting ****ers as Kirkland is.
Julio doesnt do well with hit and move type cats, and from what i've seen of Kirkland, he ****s and trades , should be a great fight but i think i'm gonna have to go with Julio in this one, he seems a lil more hungry since his 2 losses....but if Kirkland wins, it'll still be great...
