Usually it takes Vit more than a round to start discouraging a guy.
Peter looked beaten before stepping in the ring.

He was much more spirited when he fought Wlad.

He did well against Wlad and Toney. Peter regressed since then.

Then the German weed did him in completely.

            Stop making excuses

Peter was coming off a 6th round KO win over Oleg Maskaev. He wasn't on drugs. He was outclassed and destroyed by a superior fighter...that's the bottom line!

I don't even like Peter. Just thought he looked even crappier than he usually does.

And I've seen Maskaeev destroyed too many times to take stock in that victory.
I mean even Kirk Johnson destroyed Maskaaev.

Maskaev turned his career around after his early tough losses. He got a new trainer, went on a big winning streak and earned a shot at Hasim Rahman. He looked impressive knocking out Rahman in 12 rounds.

Peter destroyed the rejuvanated improved Maskaev in 6 rounds, it was a good win for Peter.

It was a good win for Vitali. But Peter has fought much better in the past.
That's all I have to say on the matter.

He didn't even put up a fight. He got discouraged really early I guess.

I love James Toney, but I think they drugged him up for this interview.
