Peter lethargy was mostly due to with those hurtful hooks and jabs Vitali would land every time Sam stepped forward.

He even looked bad in the first and had no spirit.
Usually it takes Vit more than a round to start discouraging a guy.

Maskaev turned his career around after his early tough losses. He got a new trainer, went on a big winning streak and earned a shot at Hasim Rahman. He looked impressive knocking out Rahman in 12 rounds.

Peter destroyed the rejuvanated improved Maskaev in 6 rounds, it was a good win for Peter.
