I just spoke with Bob Arum and he said he expects to have a bout contract signed by Manny Pacquiao for a May 2 bout against Ricky Hatton sometime on Tuesday.
It’s no secret that the Hatton camp waffled, getting off their 50-50 money split and conceding a slight percentage edge to Megamanny.
I put it blunltly to Arum.
Is it now 55-45 for Pacman or only the 52-48 edge for the Pinoy idol?
Arum hesitated briefly before saying, “I don’t want to get into that…But it looks good. I really expect to have as signed contract tomorrow.”
So much for all huffing, puffing and minor league bluffing coming out of Manchester, UK
