MP doesn't base his 60-40 about how many people will watch the fight it is about what he deserve as P4P king. Is Hatton close 2nd? or some people of the world is just so used of paying Filipinos the lowest, that they don't deserve to be paid accordingly like the rest of the world. Fairness is what MP is asking for. There are millions of Filipinos out there that are under paid just because they are Filipinos. MP is fighting for his people. This my friends is why boxing is suffering to lesser sports like UFC and MMA venues. Top fighters not fighting over a few precentage points. Ricky you want to prove your the best then accept whatever deal and quit with all this i bring english money so i deserve half, you are going to be rich anyway. PacMan pick a division and understand there was only one delahoya who can dictate unfair terms and still make his opponent more money than ever. I understand the pride factor in accepting less money but what about the pride of a Fighter. Seems nowadays boxers are more business men than fighters(another trend Started by the Golden Boy) and maybe thats why these lesser sports are becoming more popular. Hatton what else have you got lined up besides PacMan to make these kinds of dollars and Unless PacMan wants to get back in the ring with the Man many think already beat him twice in Marquez, there is no other fights to make big Money like this one. Hatton and PacMan either Put up or Shut up but is not cool to haggle over an absurd amount of money the both of you would make in these economic times.

If done deal the boxing fans won! But not for the current best fighter personal stature. If greed ruled, pacman would probably counting for $$$ as basis, but if ego that counts just like in this case, Pacman concerned more in counting on % deviation. He knows his stature as currently the best fighter, a P4P king and most sought opponent by other fighters, so he believes its just right to put himself above Hatton when it comes to percentage sharing. And right, he would rather fight JMM or anybody else for 3M$ from 70-30 % sharing in his favor rather than would fight Hatton for 20M$ from 50-50 % sharing, because this how ego would count! Before watching them on great elation on their performances, first we need at least to put them in the right place to stand to recognize their statures. We should not be so insensitive to the extent we are concerned only to ourselves enjoying watching the fights.

For me, 55-45 in favor of Pacman is just right and fair enough for the two. I hope they would iron-out their differences soonest because this what the vast majority of boxing fans waited.
