Like I said, it’s his business, but Pac is making a poor business decision here. 52% of a fight against Hatton is going to be a hell of a lot more lucrative than getting even 70% of nearly any other potential fight out there. Maybe if Mayweather came back, but I guarantee you at best he would get just under the lion’s share of that purse. And after De La Hoya, Hatton is probably the most popular person in boxing. If Pac beats him as well he could not only be the number one boxer, but also the top earner in the sport for years to come. Sometimes you have to look at the long-term prospects of your decisions.

Pac needs to learn that having a huge ego inside of the ring is advantageous to a boxer's success, but is usually a detriment to his wallet.
are u serious? hatton is NOT the second most popular boxer. he's popular in england, but he needs another name on the card to sell fights over here.

i can count probably on one hand, how many boxers are genuinely concerned with their legacy. ALL these guys fight for money, get over it. respect the risks they take, but idolizing boxers is a waste of time. if ricky didn't care about money also, he would've been quick to give up a bigger cut. all these dudes fight for money, man. let it go.

You speak as if Manny is handling the negotiations himself, personally.

This couldn't be further from the truth. His advisors and greedy lawyer are the ones who are being greedy. I don't know how you could possibly make that baseless assumption based on these 'articles' you read here.

Like i said, had Hatton taken on Bradley and Witter, it would have been 50/50 easily, no way will Pac settle with 50/50.

Pac is taking the bigger risk, not Hatton
what other options does pac have that hatton doesent?

any fighter would take a pacman fight over a hatton fight.....plus manny is willing to fight at welterweight, that opens up a whole new list of options for him, as ricky will only fight at WW if he can get dlh.

pac has more options, man. period.

Team Hatton offering 52-48 shows a willingness to be flexible where pride is concerned to get the fight done, and 55-45 with more UK PPV money to him is clever because it underlines just how much Pacman gains from that, and why he should sigh the fight.

Pacman seems a little naive and being a little manipulated by a few people around him I sense, especially as he's not even answering calls to his trainer Roach whom is on the same page pretty much as everyone.

I hope Pac takes one of these, not doing so would be lunacy.

I don't blame Ricky Hatton for wanting 50-50, he knows this fight will sell and he wants a lot of money because even he knows he will get beat by Pacman, with that said, It would be fair 60-40 because Pacman is the p4p best fighting in the world at the moment and is comming of his biggest win(Which I predicted btw).

                    60-40, make it happen!
