Why Are People Always So Quick To Sleep?

Im seeing all these threads calling Berto an overrated hype job when I came away more impressed with him then I was before the fight. I dont even get the hype job talk. People talk like he was rated a top 3ww and that everyone thought he would soon just dominate the best division in boxing where these huge guys are. No one ever looked at him like that and now because he had a tough fight with a supremely underrated fighter, he sucks? I use to argue with people all the time over Hatton-Collazo about how good Collazo was. I swear that I truly think that most fans & media are biased against pure boxers. I always felt that Collazo was a beast and can hang with anyone. I think Im a pretty fair guy. I love Collazo but I felt that he let Hatton out work him down the stretch and Hatton won. After this fight Hatton's stock went way down and I couldnt beleive it because I know how good Collazo is and that Hatton shouldve got a ton of credit for the victory.

The same goes for this fight. I dont care who you are, Collazo is going to give 99% of guys trouble and that includes Shane Mosley. I truly beleive that Collazo got hurt and the fact that he didnt have much time to prepare made the fight worse then what it shouldve been. I was truly impressed with Berto in that fight and I scored it 6 rounds to 6. Now I see these threads saying that Margarito would **** Berto. How do you guys figure that? Its like people have never seen boxing before. Styles make fights. Margarito is a big strong beast but he's slow as a mummy, has No D, and is definatly not a Southpaw. Berto could rack up so many points on him. He would be able to land so many flush shots on him that will snap his head back and make the crowd go ooh. The difference is speed will be so crazy. Stop acting like Margarito is GOD and that Berto is a bum. Its not true at all. Berto matches up super well against Margarito. There is no way that Margarito ****s him like some say. He'll be able to see all of Margarito's shots coming and land blistering combos.

My basic point is that nearly every guy in this WW division is good and none are far ahead of the others. All the fights would be super tough and if you dont think so then your crazy. Margarito may KO Berto but I bet he is clearly behind in that fight after the first 4 rounds and everyone will be saying that he exposed Margarito and so on. It will be like the Clottey fight but I actually think that Berto has the style and explosiveness to stop Margarito in his tracks more then he's ever been stopped before. Not because his power is so amazing but because of how the shots will be coming. I just think that people assume way too much after seeing one fight and they are far too quick to dismiss someone as garbarge. There is no way that a slow guy like Margarito is just going to run through Betro like he's not there. If you think that then your foolish. He wouldnt run through Collazo that way either. All these guys can hang with eachother. No one will just straight out dominate the other if they have legitimate time to prepare

People on this site want PERFECTION and even then it's not good enough, they are boring to watch, etc.! in short, this site is full of haters!

Berto not only showed a ton of heart, he was exciting as hell. What more you want?

I think people are upset that Berto won in a bad decision. When you are hyped like that people expect you to be invincible, and when you show weakness, just like Berto did last night, you get major flack for it. Andre Berto is very good, just not the best in his division, definitely top 10 easy though.

Every time a fighter don't perform as well as expected he gets hit wit the exposed/overrated ****. Welcome to boxingscene. He mighta deserved a close decision loss, but no way his stock should do anything but rise. He fought his as off.
