Or they thought Hatton won the fight. Not every decision made in boxing is a corrupt one. Sometimes you can see more watching ringside than you can on t.v. Good inside work is not always apparent on t.v.

Because Hatton struggled. It would be ****** to take a rematch at a weight he isn't comfortable at, and a fighter who doesn't suit his style. If you get the luck of the draw, get out and stay out.

Fights like Pacquiao vs Marquez are different. Both fighters gave as good as they got and made the fight entertaining. Hatton vs Collazo was not entertaining.

Just like Pac-JMM 2. Close fight. Each has some clear rds, there's also some close rds. Hatton scores the lone KD, which steals the decision for him. Not a robbery, but a fight that coulda been even or close for either guy.

Now THAT was a robbery. In that fight Hatton was the guy ready to go..Collazo was on the edge in the laast round against berto

i feel Collazo won, but lost out on a near-50-50 decision

wouldn't quite call it a robbery

why was there never a rematch though? (serious question, no troll - i genuinely don't know what happened after the fight)

It was a very close fight. I had it 115-112, Hatton won. Not even close to being a robbery.

I think the only reason some scream robbery is because Hatton looked a bit dazed in the last round and he is white. Non whites don't like it when a white fighter wins, especially when its a close fight, then they cry foul play.

                  Basically just racism.

                      Yes. It was a robbery...

because it was predetermined that as long as Hatton finished standing, he was gonna get that win...there was too much invested in his future at that point for him to NOT get the win...

but that's Hatton for ya....bull**** and corruption is his natural element....look back to The Great Hometown **** of '05....the Tszyu fight......Tszyu knew he didn't have enough left to KO Hatton...let alone decision him in Manchester....so he said, "**** it."....

Pretty much the only way Tszyu and Collazo could have beaten Hatton was to take it out of the judges hands and put him down and out.....like Mayweather did...

Then again...part of me sincerely believes that even if Tszyu literally murdered Hatton in the ring that night, they would have awarded Hatton the W somehow....it was THAT blatant and disgusting.
