I had Glen Johnson winning and Berto winning. Very similar situations though I agree.

Berto needs to learn that he does better from the outside and using his fast as hell hands and boxing skills to beat his opponents. While it was definitely crowd pleasing and fun to watch, it would better his career to think of himself as a boxer, not a brawler!

Men Luis won that fight. Even in the 4th round Kellerman was like, "Collazo is taking Berto to school right now". Anyways Berto needs to find a different way of fighting, he doesnt have a good jab, he doesnt move well, and he doesnt have any head movemet. He is fast as hell, but he doesnt know how to use it. I think he needs to fight more like a prime Mosley. He should fight in spurs, throwing flurrys!!!!!!!!!!!!

it was close and I personally had him winning but it definitely could have gone the other way.

there were a couple rounds in he middle, if I remember correct 7 and 8 or something like that when Berto actually tried to box and created distance....he easily won those rounds and collazo couldn't land anything significant. He should have done that the entire fight but I'm glad he didn't cuz that was on of the most exciting fights I've seen for a bit!

Maybe Berto will suprise all of us and go Mayweather-Castillo rematch-esque on us even if he doesn't win a more clearer decision like Floyd did.

You're right, when Berto started using his feet and threw that stiff jab, he was winning rounds. His problem is that he doesn't know how to throw short punches on the inside. He likes to throw hard cracking shots and he got away with it against punching bag opponents but Collazo wasn't a punching bag on the inside. Collazo barbed and weaved and Berto missed on the inside while Collazo was scoring points throwing pitty-patts....and that was smart.

Berto needs to work on that. Not everything needs to hard.

Good analogy, but I think Berto will have the balls to rematch Luis. Even after the Tarver rematch is done, I don't think lil Chad wants it wit Glen again.
