They had a common opponent in Collazo and they both got taken to a very close fight. Now what would happen if they fought each other for Berto's WBC WW title?

Hatton can't beat the best at WW, but he would beat Berto right now, give it 2 years and an improved Berto might beat a fading Hatton. -
Hatton's older and more experienced. I think Berto would have a hard time getting passed Hatton in a dominant fashion. He'd put up a good fight though.
Does anyone know where i can watch the Berto fight? Without paying for something?Comment

Berto has a chance at 147, if he could keep distance i favor him, but i think hatton would cut the ring down and probably finish him late on. Berto showed vulnerability to the body, and i dont think he is slick enough inside, from what inside, when he gets inside, he just goes to hold. For me hatton sets too fast a pace right now, Hatton by late tko, but in the future it could be a different story.Comment

Berto was tricked into fighting on the inside way too much against Collazo, and was not too effective. hes not very good at clinching either, its very loose for a grab...thats the kind of thing Hatton would love.
also, Berto, while explosive, does not have the precision that Collazo has, which helped out Collazo a lot. all of Hattons forward momentum actually added to collazos punching power, which is why Hatton got hurt so badly.
I would go for Hatton by decision, although I thought Berto won the fight last night. Berto doesnt yet have the discipline to keep Hatton off of him, and while what Hatton does is kind of ugly, it works very well for him, and not too many people can outdo him in that catagory.Comment
