I had Collazo winning the fight by a close decision. Ya! Berto.....he showed me alot though. He was tested big time and I was impressed by the will he showed in the last round. The last round was what won him the fight. He is not the best welterweight as of now but he is special and just needs time...You can teach skill, you can't teach hart.

Mosley is going to beat Margarito!

This is going to be a great fight! Mosley will be the champ at the end of the night. Too many people are hanging on to Margaritos win over Cotto. That was his special night. Cotto will beat him in #2 also. Yes I said it! Margarito is going to have a year starting off with two losses...I'm not hating either. I respect Margarito as a fighter. Has a hart of a lion. His skill is just decent though.

Berto impressed me a lot with his heart. He took some great shots and was obviously exhausted. He has the heart, desire and will of a champion, and he will only get better.

He may have been impressive showing heart and durability but he should have a loss on his record.

On top of that he cant keep up with fighters like Mosley margarito or Cotto

At this point of his career no he will not be able to. He has to learn how to move around the ring better and utilize his jab, also how to pick his spots, throw 3-4-5 punch combinations, then get back on the outside.

Berto is what, 25 yrs old? He legs should never fail him, he should constantly be making his opponents move and use their feet. Berto was getting hit way too much and if Collazo had to move his feet more, he would have been more tired than what he was and Berto could have put him away, especially in the last seconds of the 11th round!

Good fight by Berto, but also alot to critize too. 1. Better Movement and Ring Generalship, 2. Consistent and powerful jab (he could have one like Juan Diaz in the Katsidas fight if he worked on it) 3. Not getting lazy on the inside 4. fighting in 3-4-5 combination spurts and getting back to the outside.

I just think it was that Berto came in very heavy....at 160. If he's gonna be coming in that weight and that intensity, he's gonna be a world class frontrunner like Zab is.

i think alot of it had to do with him thinking he could just knock out collazo and just wanted to impress without giving the impression of running.

when he wanted to stick and move he could, it would have been a much easier fight for him too.

berto impressed me alot the way he came back, especially with the body shots. i think he has a great career ahead of him.

with that said i do not think he stays undefeated but he will win some big fights if he fights like i think he can.

I'm very impressed with Berto's showing, as well as Collazo's. I think Berto will give any of the top fighters in the buisness a good go, but we will definitly see in the years to come. Can't wait to see Berto & Colazzo against the top welterweights in the near future.
