I've seen way worse **** go down than that. He was hurt and he held somewhat for a few rounds. However, it wasn't as if he wasn't trying to fight back as well. I've seen Hatton get away with way worse without warning. Plus Klit holds everytime someone tries to get inside on him. Berto wasn't doing it so much.

It must depend on the ref.

Not at all, but if he did take the point from Berto, why didn't he take a point from Collazo late when he was holding twice as bad as Berto did early?

    horrible ref

Imagine this guy in a Hopkins or Hatton fight.

I thought it was a little early for the point deduction, I mean Berto was holding, but not like Ruiz or Hatton style. Im glad he didn't make a big deal of it in the later rounds when another point deduction could have effected the decision.

I think the point deduction was early. Also, the ref looked right at Collazo when he cracked Berto on his ears with both hands at once, like Peter did to Toney in their first fight the ref said nothing.

I agree that the judge who scored it 116-111 needs a stronger lens prescription.
