    is the ref allowed to help you up ? lol

    did anyone catch that when berto was on his back? he stuck his hand up for help lol
    im not talkin bad about berto but i was almsot sure the refs not allowed to assist a fighter in anyway ..

        In that instance I think they can, I've seen it happen before. Now if a fighter had gotten knocked down and had assistance from a referee in getting back up, it's a different story.

          yeah it was in no way a knockdown but i was just wondering cuz i never saw that heppen myself .berto looked completley out of it reaching in the air (like he wanted collazo 2 help him) it was kind of humorous lol

            I think Hopkins was helped back up by the referee when he got thrown down by Echols, I'm not sure though if that was the fight I saw a referee help a fighter up from the floor when the fighter wasn't knocked down.

              Yeah, Echols threw Hopkins down twice in the 6th I think it was. Dislocated 'Nard's shoulder. The referee helped him up one of those times if I'm not mistaken. That was the rematch.

                If it's not a knockdown the ref may try to get them up at quickly as possible to help them up. I haven't seen the fight but I doubt it's as bad as the infamous Hernandez-Braithwaite incident LMFAO!!!!
