Look I know you had Berto winning , but I think the champ should be held to a higher standard, he got beat up in many rounds and I think at most Berto should have earned a draw. For me I understand why people have Collazo losing...his conditioning failed him late and he was a sitting duck for Berto but I dont think even that was enought to credit Berto with the win.

That would be true if Berto was badly behind on the scorecards and everyone agreed that he was badly behind. That would mean that he would need a KO in the 12, came close to it but didn't deliver and lost.

However that's not what happened, Berto won plenty of rounds. Enough rounds to create a debate all over the internet over who won.

i had it exactly the same. Draw going into the 12th. i really wanted collazo to pull this off cuz hes a ny rican, but i have to be fair, and berto won this with his 12th round performance. Props to him for edging it out in a tough fight.
