Why is Dawson rematching Tarver?

I dont get it, it cant be his best $$ fight? What the hell is the point? I know he will never rematch Johnson but this fight is pointless.

Generally a fighter who is putting his belt up for grabs puts a rematch clause in in case they lose. It was Tarver's IBF belt up for grabs.
