Bertos KO power? Is it real?

Look we saw Colazzo get dropped by Hatton. We also saw Collazo eat Bertos best shots. Even when Collazo was about to drop due to exhaustion and yet Berto couldnt knock him out. So I ask is Bertos power overstated because he has KOd lesser opponents?

He's got power, but it's not as serious as it was protraded. He's speed with a good uppercut.. but the B+ pop isn't there, more like B, B- to me.

I've always said Berto's power mainly comes from his speed and he needs accumulation to get his opponents out of there, he isn't that big a puncher, his record is deceiving in that way.

No. Collazo has a good chin and Berto fades from poor (relatively) conditioning.

Collazo has a good chin and Berto is a sharp snappy puncher with mad speed rather than a real Heavy Puncher!

To be fair tho Hattons KD of Collazo was a balance thing, caught him square going backwards

Berto has Roy Jones power. He doesn't punch through the target, he just throws really really hard rocks at the target.

He's not as heavy handed as Jones, Jones could take an opponent out with 1 punch with when he sat down on his shots and turned them over, Berto is more of an accumulation puncher but the way they rely on speed to generate and blindside their opponents is similar.
