Well said and I completely agree. His chin is also excellent, he took alot of heavy shots from Berto and kept pressing forward the entire fight. I just think he is lacking a bit in the power department, but he is very well rounded and makes up for it that way.

he's 27 years old and he hasn't been in any truly punishing fights. he is in his prime if anything.

Regardless of his two controversial losses....one thing is NOT up for dispute....

Collazo is a noticeably better boxer than both Hatton and Berto.

            I'd say he's a B+....

collazo in my book has only one loss and that's against mosley,
so it should not affect him, it will for another title shot though,
              maybe collazo vs clottey

Collazo is good but he isn't that good, Berto struggling so badly with him signifies to me that he is nowhere near ready for the best in the division yet and I think he was lucky he didn't fight Mosley instead, Mosley would have beaten him.

Agreed. Collazo messes up every big fight, he doesn't got enough heart to make it to the elite, but he's got enough skills to be the top 5 or 6 welterweight for now. Berto is hungrier that Collazo but he doesn't have the skills to beat Cotto or Margarito. I would want to see Berto fight Clottey.
