i agree - i don't necessarily agree with ******ed scoring that we often see but i do realize that.

boxing is the only sport that has me on the edge of my seat, heart beating like 300 times a minute and ****. i felt the same way about dawson-johnson.

    lol

          boxing isn't fair........waaaaaaaaaah

is basically it boiled down to it's essence.

but life and boxing are exciting for the same reasons.

Boxing mimicks life in that there are a lot of gray areas, and the correct people don't always win. and justice isn't always served, etc etc,

            Like life boxing is subjective.

And that's what makes it great.
people watch boxing because they expect it to be fair.

Well then they have been disappointed for a hundred years or so.

I always thought people watched boxing because they liked the excitement of hand to hand combat and how it thrills them to watch people kick some ass.

I don't even know fair was ever in the equation.

No I am trying to say boxing was never fair.

**** always happened. Sketchy ****. since it started...

and because judging is subjective, it will continue to happen. and people will disagree about stuff (like we do about life)

that's always been part of the sport.

I've always enjoyed the war analogy. Boxing imitates life; imitates war. I love the concept of strategy, use of weapons, training, warriors, challenges, glory, honor, tradition and in some instances death.

War is the ultimate confrontation such as boxing. The hype surrounding boxing as well as a war is su****iously dubious. There's drama in both wrapped with a twist of irony.

The fight. Who cannot be attracted to the heat of battle. Two trained gladiators slugging it out in front of a drunken slur of people. IMO, fighting is a true test of a warrior's heart. In war, there are soldiers who are weak to fight. In boxing, like war, there are soldiers who are weak to fight.

                    Boxing imitates life imitates war.

I will just say that tonights BAD card was an excellent way to start off the new year, and a good reason why boxing is great.
