They are boxing FANS just like we are. They buy into hype as well. hype is something HBO film crew does extremely well, and they are required to watch all that stuff.

If they thought Berto was a bum, there is no doubt in my mind they would have said it during the fight. And saying it wouldn't piss HBO off, because HBO pays them good money to call the fights like they see them. Do anything otherwise would rip away a massive chunk of HBO's credibility

Disregard 116-111 please. We know it's a terrible score. Two had it 114-113. Meaning that Berto won the 12th and probably the 1st which Led scored for Collazo. Really close rounds. Collazo taking off rounds didn't help his cause either.

        Were they not?

        Ahhh, fair enough.

But still, we are talking about HBO in general. And I can't see how anyone can claim there is no bias in the way they call fights...

Yes, HBO paying people to tell people that HBOs star is a bum. That sounds like a great move...

did u even read what i wrote?? i thought i was pretty clear. Hbo PAYS their commentators to TELL it like it is. If that means calling a fighter a bum, so be it. you know why? they do that so when a real star comes along and the HBO commentators call this fighter a star, the fans are likely to TRUST their opinion, instead of blowing them off because they are always biased... u get me? its common sense for HBO to do it this way

I agree with Kball. HBO commentary may be biased, but they arent biased for HBO.

yall make me laugh sometimes. If HBO really cared so much, I guess Lederman qill be fired tonight, since he gave the fight to Collazo who was supposedly not the 'house fighter'...?'

what about the multiple times that HBO guys have called fighters out when they got gift decisions?

the judges, the ref, the commentary, they can all be biased. but to think that HBO is behind it all is idiotic.

I'm too drunk to be arsed with you.

That's as simple as I can be.

HBO are biased. If you try to say otherwise...then just LOL..IMO..

I think you are so drunk that you see HBO and their commentators as biased.

Sober up and you will see the error in your judgment.

Lampley is clearly biased. Drunk Larry seems to be the only one who holds people in check when he doesn't agree.
Lewis is newer so he goes along with things a lot, Papa and Kellerman are trying to make their bones, but Lamps overall is a biased mfer who can't call fights without a bias toward the house fighter.

No, the drunkeness has nothing to do with that. I've known that they can be biased for a long time..

To be fair, it is mainly Lampley. The over emotional ****..
