Well that is half right. Point deductions have to be made, but a judge can regard a knockdown anyway he sees fit. There is no rule in boxing that guarantees you get a certain bonus for a knockdown.

theirs also no rule that you have to give all the correct rounds to the correct fighter, you can score it 12 rounds to none for berto, no rules against it
