yeah cotto and pavlik on the same card is great but not ppv great. both fights are going to be dominated by cotto and pavlik ending the fights early. which doesnt make it ppv material. Why not make marg vs mosley ppv that seems a better fight to be on ppv. am not complaining cause i rather watch marg vs mosley for free.

Keep in mind no network would pick this card up, not HBO or Showtime, so that's the main reason it's a PPV.

After it being said there'd only be a few PPV's a year, there were what 8 in 08, and it looks like there's gona be more in 09 when the same has been said again, especially given the current financial climate.

All these PPV's are really limiting the number of people watching boxing which is killing the sport.

Yeah i guess i can see were your coming from, but you are getting 2 world title fights, and the #1 Middlweight and a top #3 welterweight and a pound 4 pound fighter in Cotto, and both fighters always seem to bring excitment and bring a good atmosphere and its a good undercard. Also can't moan to much Mosely/Margarito is free, Berto/Collazo is free, Marquez/Diaz-John/Juarez is free, so don't worry you will be getting some good events were you don't have to pay.

HBO will have fewer PPV's this year. HBO is being very selective of what fights they will pick up and which fights will be PPV. Like I said above, no network picked this card up from my understanding that's why this is a small top rank ppv.

But $50, or even close is ridiculous guys. I can't believe your expected to pay that.

How do your networks manage to charge you for so many fights, yet their available free or for next to nothing in most others? It just doesn't make sense, as a punter I'd be pissed, and I can see why Boxing is more popular in a lot of other countries over America now. Shame, something is fishy financially imo though.
