Hatton's fight vs Malignaggi was only on FREE HBO and his fight with Lascano was on Versus and not many people knows such channel exist.
How the **** can he be the bigger draw when Pac's fight was on PPV ever since the Morales fight?
Hatton got fans only from the UK.
Pac got Asian fans, latino fans , black and white fans.
**** that ****! HAtton should lay down and be thankful that he's getting a crack at fighting the # 1 p4p fighter again.

He won't though. That's the sticking point. This time Pac was going to get an equal share of that revenue which is rare for a Hatton fight.

That's why Arum was trying to convince Pac to take the deal.

money is money. it doesn't even mean that much where the fight is held in the u.s/

2 cases. look at their whole careers and tell me hatton didn't kill pac moneywise although this **** isn't about that.

it's about them taking equal pay and making money an
d giving us a good fight.

this isn't a whose better thread.
u said hatton made more money in gate fighting tzyu that's why i said lets not forget the fight will take place in the US where it's proven that pac can sell more tickets

friend, the revenue is international, not just us.
but correct me if i am wrong, but doesn't hatton have a boatload of fans who fly over to see him.
maybe not against malignaggi but weren't there 11k from the uk that flew over for mayweather. wouldn't those same people fly over for a pfp star like Pac?

it's live gate plus international revenue. and hatton's fans would come over in droves if he's fighting another star.

i didnt come in to this thread to dispute hatton's fan base. i came into this thread to respond to posters who claim hatton can just fight anyone and pull in more revenue than pac

It was actually 30k that flew over, A great Majority of them had to watch in Bars and other places where the fight was showing. Look If Manny's own promoter wants 50/50 and Manny's own trainer want 50/50 why would Manny turn it down. Cause he will get some of the UK PPV revenues. Manny will probably make more fighting Hatton then he will against Oscar foe the simple fact that Manny only got 32 % of the purse not to mention there wasn't any PPV buys from the UK where against Hatton he will make 3-5 million since he is sharing the UK PPV revenues with Hatton. Wake up MANNY!!!!!!

Hatton is a fool if he doesnt accept 60-40, both men have the opportunity to mak emore than most people make in their lifetime, not to mention they are doing what they love to do. Suck the pride **** up and give the fans what they want guys!!

                      Uh I don't get it...

Lots of fighters are dying to have a shot a Pacquiao, heck even Margarito and Cotto never hid their interest in facing the guy. Then there's you...you used to be a force in your division, but you got humiliatingly knocked out in front of your fans, followed that with a less than impressive performance against a no-namer, then followed that up with a fight that hardly made PPV noise against an overrated powder-puff punching boxer.

Oscar dela Hoya wanted to face you because you seem like an easy opponent for an aging fighter but granddad got badly whooped by Pacquiao, so Pacman inherited your May date with dela Hoya by default. Now you are stuck with a fight that you know would probably end your career, but it's not all that bad, think of what it would do to your legacy if you win! A year ago, team Pacquiao has been considering you as an opponent in his planned jump to the higher weight class, team Pacman thinks you got short stubby arms and speed that's just as fast as Pacman in slowmo, oh yeah, Pacman looks at you as a patsy opponent and everybody outside England knows that, but when dela Hoya came along, it was such a big money fight that no fighter in his right mind would let the dela Hoya opportunity pass - not even Pacquaio.

Finally you get your date, and dela Hoya by losing badly practically gave you a Pacquiao fight on a silver platter. What I don't get is that when Pacquiao practically agrees to fight you at your own weightclass and even offers you 60/40 PPV sharing for the trouble, why in the world woudn't you grab the friggin' opportunity? You know you might not get this chance at Pacquiao again. It is not that it is Pacquiao who's dying to get a shot at your IBO belt and P4P#9 ranking, wake up dude!
