    Pacquiao/Mayweather will never happen........

There was a time when this fight was highly likely, considering both guys being the best in the world, and with Pacquiao's move to 147lbs, being in the same weight class, and very similar in physical size.

But now, with all of this new light shed on Pac's management, with the way they've been going about a fight with Hatton, I doubt it will ever happen.

Think about it, Manny thinks he's entitled to 60% of the purse against a superstar like Hatton (who is going to be the one to sell out the arena and generate the most PPV buys).

He'd want at least 60% against Floyd as well, considering Floyd's fanbase is significantly smaller than Ricky's. Not to mention now that Floyd is retired, Manny is #1 P4P, and Floyd can no longer use that as a bargaining chip.

You really think Floyd would come out of retirement to give Manny a 60% share of the purse? ****, Floyd would probably want 60%.

Are you sure about that? I mean why would he just give Floyd 50% of the purse, when Floyd's fanbase is so much smaller than Ricky's, not to mention Floyd having been out of the sport for over a year?

Mayweather himself said he'd "whip Pacquiao's ass", and Freddie Roach himself said he wanted Floyd to come out of retirement so Manny could "knock you out too".

It seems that both parties involved actually want the fight, but I have a feeling it'd just fall apart during negotiations.

Beating a shot Oscar is one thing. Beating Mayweather is another.

I can see Mayweather KOing Pac with a brutal combo before the 6th.

I think if they was to fight, Mayweather would win. However... the reason Pacquiao would be fine to let Floyd have 50% is because of one thing and one thing only... legacy.

Mayweather is the bigger name between the two so I think Floyd is entitled to get more of the share.

I see Mayweather TKO'ing Manny around the 9th or 10th. He'll either destroy Manny at close range like he did with Hatton and Gatti (not saying it will be that one sided, manny will have moments). Or he'll dispatch him from a distance.

If only the fight gets made.

If hes as good as he keeps saying why dosnt he fight hatton at 50/50 and beat him and then fight mayweather surely this is the most logical and profitable way to do it plus make him one of the best fighters ever????? It looks to me like hes trying to duck hatton

50/50 with floyd is ok because pbf was p4p#1, but pac would expect pbf to haggle him down 2 it
