    DVR Question

    My DVR has a USB port (I guess they all do I really have no idea) what I was wondering is, that is it possible to extract whats on my DVR onto a Zip Drive and transfer the contents onto my hard drive? If so how?

    Maybe this is a ****** question, but I don't know much about computers so you will have to forgive me.

          I dunno, but if anybody could tell me how to use a DVD-R on one of these Dish Network boxes I could upload
