He's ducking him? Banks went from fight Mac to fighting the man at cruiserweight. Sorry but it sounds like he made a SMART choice.

Banks is not ducking Maccarinelli.

He just wants the more lucrative nationally-televised fight on Showtime in the US.

I don't think Banks is ducking Macca, but he certainly hasn't been overly sportsmen like to him. Enzo's been waiting to fight him for yonks with his pull outs and such, it's only fair he at least fight him later than planned as planned, not mess him around more.

I know I know it's a sport and you gotta do what you gotta do, it's a great opportunity. But I still think it's a slight ***** move, just not ducking.

Macca will be very very annoyed after several pull outs and having to face a HW bum, fair enough for willing to. I think mentally and physically, style wise, he'll be changing a lot as a fighter from his loss to Haye, the pull outs, facing a HW and now this.

Hopefully the winner give Enzo a shot some time in the short term future, especially if it is Banks. I probably to favour Adamek though, so ultimately Banks is going to lose out rushing to face the best, almost like Haye may well do too. There's a lot of impatient fighters around these days dying for short cuts and they often come off worse for it than better.

If you sign to fight someone, withdraw with injury and then refuse to fight the guy in an arranged rematch, what is it, if it's not ducking?

I'm not a big Calzahe fan but everyone says Calzaghe ducked Johnson and it was Johnson who went and found someone else to fight in the exact same situatiom.
